Module Toyota Denso Gen2 (newGen) CAN

For petrol and diesel Toyota/Lexus vehicles with Denso newGen ECUs. Depending on the protocol, OBD functions include actual or virtual reading, writing, and checksum correction.

Two protocol groups are included:

TYPE 1 (FID: 23, 27)

FullFlash operations: READING and writing over P5-CAN are available for petrol Toyota/Lexus engines including 2.0 6ARFSE, 2.0T 8ARFTS, 1.2T 8NRFTS, 3.5 2GRFKS and 3.5 7GRFSE.

This FID also offers a READ PROTECTION PATCH to block subsequent ECU reads and protect modified files against copying.

TYPE 2 (FID: 28)

FullFlash operations: VIRTUAL READING and writing include CS/CVN correction for diesel and naturally aspirated petrol Toyota/Lexus engines: 2.8TD 1GDFTV, 2.4TD 2GDFTV, 4.0 1GRFE, 2.7 2TRFE, 2NRFE and 3ZRFAE. A matching file on the BitBox server is essential before writing.

Virtual reading is available only when the matching software exists on the BitBox server. The developer does not accept claims for files absent from its database. Check the supported-file list here .

When the server does not contain a file, a real read can be made with the Toyota Denso Gen2 Reader BENCH [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module.
