The developer recommends bench writing for these controllers. In some vehicles, writing through OBD2 can damage the EEPROM.

MB Delphi CRD3.xx TC1793 BENCH (FID: 254)

Bench protocol for 2020 vehicles with Delphi CRD3.xx hardware: Infineon Tricore TC1793 and 4Mb internal flash.

Bench/CAN reading and writing include checksum correction. Use DrewTech CarDAQ+, Scanmatik SM2 Pro or another J2534 adapter capable of 800 kbit/s CAN.

Read the calibration area and write with checksum correction over CAN.

CAN reading and writing include checksum correction. If OBD writing fails, connect the controller on the bench.
